Liz has been passionate about animal care since 2001, working in pet sitting and dog daycare while pursuing her education. In 2007, she left a Harvard scientific research program to focus full-time on animal care. She and Christian founded Companion Synergy in 2009 with a mission to provide specialized care for all pets, especially those with behavioral or physical needs. A lifelong learner, she continuously expands her expertise in animal behavior, training, and nutrition to better serve her clients. She shares her home with Christian and their two Siberian Huskies, Sigyn (age 11) and Rollo (age 2).

Co-Owner/Dog Walker/Pet Sitter
Christian joined Companion Synergy in 2017 and brings a lifelong passion for animals. He grew up with both cats and dogs and specializes in working with challenging dogs, earning their trust through positive methods. A Certified Professional Pet Sitter through Pet Sitters International, Christian currently shares his home with two Siberian Huskies—Rollo (age 2) and Sigyn (age 11)—who inspire his compassionate approach to pet care.

Jo brings over 15 years of pet training and behavior consulting expertise to Companion Synergy. She's been advising our clients since our 2009 opening and joined the team full-time in 2016 as a dog walker and pet sitter. A skilled trainer who's developed her own service dog, Jo currently shares her home with Torsten, a 10-year-old Siberian Husky, and Roland, her 15-year-old cat.
